Orientation Programme 2026 is 8 structured sessions on 14 September, built around one idea: nobody should have to work out how university functions while it is already counting.
Orientation is not just an event you attend. It is day one of your four years.

One morning to welcome you and get your bearings.
Registration, welcome kit, inauguration, and an official welcome by name from the Vice Chancellor and faculty heads.
Afternoon
Explore
Understand how your degree works and meet your mentors.
Credits, electives, examination rules, student support cells, and academic orientation breakouts with your department mentors.
Evening
Begin
Tour the campus, meet the clubs, and prepare for day one of classes.
Guided campus walk through labs and library, the clubs and societies showcase, and senior student interactions over high tea.

The orientation office
Plans the orientation day, answers the help desk email, and owns every date on this site.
Faculty coordinators
One per programme. They run the breakouts and stay your first point of contact into term one.
Senior student volunteers
Second and third years who queue with you, walk you round, and answer what you would rather not email about.
Everyone here was new once.
